As a child, I loved to create little shows filled with music, dance, and story-telling for my patient parents and their friends. While helping a friend choreograph a funky poetry 'happening', I discovered the thrill of performing for an audience that was not my family, and haven't looked back since. I have studied theatre in New York City. I have run my own theatre company, touring in Toronto, New York, and Europe, and I have taught theatre arts to children, youth, and adults (where I learned SO much about being a dedicated professional artist). I continue to train as an actor, particularly acting for the camera. I am blessed with two loving daughters (an actor and an artist), a saint of a husband, and two rather goofy cats.
